West Pomerania is a picturesque region in north-west Poland that attracts visitors from all over the world with its rich history, breathtaking scenery and welcoming atmosphere. The capital Szczecin impresses with the castle of the Pomeranian dukes and the imposing Chrobry Embankment. To the north of Szczecin, the Oder widens out into the Szczecin Lagoon.
